    1230 Riceia (1931 TX1) is a main-belt asteroid discovered on October 9, 1931 by K. Reinmuth at Heidelberg.[1]

    It was later named after Hugh Rice, amateur astronomer of New York and director of the Museum of Natural Sciences.[2]
