1194 Aletta (1931 JG) is a main belt asteroid discovered on May 13, 1931 by Cyril V. Jackson at the Union Observatory, Johannesburg. It is named after the discoverer's wife.[2] The asteroid is roughly 55 km in diameter and has a low albedo.[1]
