11856 Nicolabonev

11856 Nicolabonev (provisional designation: 1988 RM8) is a main-belt minor planet. It was discovered by Vladimir Shkodrov at the Rozhen National Astronomical Observatory on September 11, 1988. It is named for Nicola Bonev, longtime head of the astronomy department at Sofia University and founder of the Institute of Astronomy of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
