Bridge FM is the local commercial radio station broadcasting in south Wales' Bridgend County Borough and the surrounding areas on a frequency of 106.3 MHz.[1]

Bridge FM transmits to an area of around 136,000 people, playing hit music, along with local news, travel information and competitions. It is the only commercial radio station in its Targeted Service area (TSA). The station is owned by Town & Country Broadcasting, and is part of a group of six local radio stations (the others being Nation Hits, Radio Carmarthenshire, Scarlet FM, Radio Pembrokeshire and Radio Ceredigion). Town and Country Broadcasting also operates one regional station, Nation Radio in south Wales.

History

Bridge FM was formerly owned by Tindle Radio Group but sold to Town and Country Broadcasting in 2006, becoming the company's fifth local radio station.
