1-2-3-4 Go! Records is an American independent record label and retail store, specializing in punk rock and indie rock, and is exclusively distributed by No Idea Records. The label was founded in August 2001 in Seattle. In December 2003 the label relocated to Oakland, California where it remains today. In March 2008 the label opened a retail store of the same name focusing on mostly vinyl releases of punk rock, indie rock, garage rock and a variety of other related genres.[1] The store also features in-store performances and monthly art shows. Frank Portman of The Mr. T Experience has performed there.[2]
Since opening the retail store, 1-2-3-4 Go! Records has won four Best of the East Bay awards from the East Bay Express. In 2009 it was awarded the Best Punk Record Store award[3] and in 2008 it was awarded the Best New Business award[4] alongside its neighbor Manifesto Bicycles.
