Restaurant 't Misverstant is a restaurant located in Den Bosch, Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1984-1995.[2][3][4][5][6]
Gault Millau awarded the restaurant 14 out of 20 points.[7]
The star was gained under the leadership of head chef Alexander Koene[8] He voluntarily gave up the Michelin star due to the immense pressure related to it.[9] The present head chef is Thijs Vis.[10]
At the time of the Michelin stars, the restauranted was located at "Snellestraat 28", a premises still owned by Thijs Vis. At present, the restaurant is located at "Verwersstraat 23" in Den Bosch.[11]
Thijs Vis and his business partner-sommelier Jeroen Funcke took over the restaurant in 2002 and restored the old name 't Misverstant.[12]
