ΦPHI Hi-Fi Innovation is a South African manufacturer of boutique loudspeakers and audio amplifiers, founded by Jacques van Zyl in 2006. The company designs and produces audiophile hi-fidelity equipment with a bias towards minimalism and under-explored technologies such as single-ended hybrid and valve amplification and single driver Voigt pipe and Double Taper Tuned Pipe (DTTP) loudspeakers. Loudspeakers are produced in numbered limited editions and one-off bespoke designs are offered. ΦPHI trades under the names PHI Audio and PHI Bespoke High-End.
