Żabin [ˈʐabin] (German: Klein Szabienen, from 1936–38 Klein Schabienen, from 1938–45 Kleinlautersee) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Banie Mazurskie, within Gołdap County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) north of Banie Mazurskie, 17 km (11 mi) west of Gołdap, and 119 km (74 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia), and there are two cemeteries—one German, one Russian—from World War I located in the town.

The village has a population of 210.
