Štefan Škaper (born 6 October 1966) is a retired Slovenian football striker. He played for Beltinci between 1991 and 1996 and Mura between 1996 and 2000. Škaper was the Slovenian PrvaLiga top scorer in consecutive years in the 1993-94 season scoring 23 goals and in the 1994-95 season scoring 25 goals. Škaper was capped for the Slovenian national team between 1994 and 1995 earning four caps. Štefan Škaper is the all time top scorer of the Slovenian PrvaLiga with 130 goals, 21 more than former Albanian international Kliton Bozgo. He holds the record for the most hat-tricks in Slovenian top division, with eight.[1] In addition, he is one of two football players who scored a record five goals in one Slovenian league match.
