Ş
Ş, ş (S-cedilla) is a letter of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Turkmen alphabets. It is also used in the Roman alphabets of Tatar, Crimean Tatar and Kurdish. It commonly represents /ʃ/, the voiceless postalveolar fricative.
Romanian
Ș, formerly Ş is a letter of the Romanian alphabet. In early versions of Unicode, Ș (S-comma) was not present in the Unicode Standard. It is also not present in the Windows 1250 (Central Europe) code page. Some texts in Romanian show it as Ş (S-cedilla).
