Świerkocin [ɕfjɛrˈkɔt͡ɕin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Witnica, within Gorzów County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Witnica and 20 km (12 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has an approximate population of 300.
