Červené Janovice is a village and municipality in Kutná Hora District of Central Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. It is located about 65 km southeast of Prague or 13 km south of Kutná Hora and has a population of 706 (2006).
This place was first mentioned in 1352, and was called Janovičky up to the 18th century.
Worth mention are local baroque chateau, church of St Martin in style of Romanesque revival and a statue of St. John of Nepomuk.
Václav Budovec of Budov, one of leading politicians of the Bohemian Revolt, was born here in 1551.
