Čebovce (Hungarian: Csáb) is a village in the Veľký Krtíš District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1240 (as Chab). It belonged to Zichy, Balassa and Somogyi noble families. From 1938 to 1944 it was occupied by Hungary.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 225 metres and covers an area of 16.21 km². It has a population of 1,029 people.
