Åsskard Church (Norwegian: Åsskard kyrkje) is a parish church in Surnadal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Åsskard. The church is part of the Åsskard parish in the Indre Nordmøre deanery in the Diocese of Møre.[1]

History

Åsskard Church was built in 1876. It was consecrated by Bishop Andreas Grimelund on 9 November 1876. Christian Hovde was the main builder and Jacob Wilhelm Nordan was the architect. The church was the main church for the old municipality of Åsskard.[2]
