Álvaro Baigorri del Río (born 11 August 1983) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Norwegian club Moss FK as a left back.

Football career

Born in Madrid, Baigorri played lower league football until the age of 23, representing UD San Sebastián de los Reyes, Racing de Santander B, CD Leganés and Alicante CF. In the 2006 summer he signed for CD Castellón, who had already acquired him the previous year.[1][2]

Baigorri played his first game as a professional on 2 September 2006, featuring in the second half of a 2–4 away loss against UD Vecindario for the Segunda División championship.[3] He finished his first year with 29 games to help the Valencian Community club to the 14th position.

Baigorri scored his first goal in the second level on 22 September 2007, netting Castellón's second in a 2–2 away draw with Sevilla Atlético.[4] He left the team in June 2010 after it suffered relegation, and returned to Segunda División B by joining AD Ceuta.[5]

In January 2012 Baigorri moved abroad for the first time in his career, signing with Sarpsborg 08 FF from the Adeccoligaen. Two years later he joined another side in the country, 2. Divisjon's Moss FK.[6]
