Zyad Barakat Chaabo (also spelt Ziad Shaabo, born January 1, 1979 in Latakia, Syria) is a Syrian football player who is currently playing for Misfat Baniyas in the Syrian Premier League. He usually plays in the Striker position.
Club career
- Zyad Chaabo started his career at Hutteen club in Syria, and after seven seasons moved to Syrian Premier League giants Al-Jaish.
- He went on loan to Persepolis F.C. on January 31, 2007, on a contract which lasted until the end of the Persian Gulf Cup 2006-07 season.
- In the Syrian League Season (2007–2008) He went on loan to Al-Karamah.
- In the Syrian League Season (2008–2009) who is currently playing for Al-Taliya.
