Zwanowice [zvanɔˈvit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Skarbimierz, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) east of Skarbimierz, 9 km (6 mi) south-east of Brzeg, and 30 km (19 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). Zwanowice is the birthplace of SS Obergruppenführer Udo von Woyrsch (1895–1983).
