Zvyozdny (Russian: Звёздный), formerly Perm-76 (Пермь-76), is a closed urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Perm Krai, Russia. Population: 9,151 (2010 Census);[3] 9,628 (2002 Census).[6]

History

Bershetsky military camp

In 1931 by the decision of Voroshilov, People's Commissar for Military and Naval Affairs, Chairman of the Revolutionary Military Council of the USSR, established permanent military summer camp : Elanskii, CHebarkulskij Bershetsky and located 5 km away from the siding number 52 Perm railway. Initially, in the summer camp Bershetskom prepared military experts in three areas: infantry, artillery and cavalry . The place was not chosen by chance: city of Perm supplied guns and Permian stud farms - horses.

In 1941 with the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, faced with the need in a very short time to prepare a lot of soldiers and camp became Bershetsky not years, and permanent. Came here to learn and go to the front . Now here is prepared not only shooters, infantrymen and cavalry artillery, but still signalers and tankers . Of them formed a teaching marching regiments. In June 1942 Bershetskom military camp was forming several artillery ski teams sent to the front. When the war ended Began peaceful everyday life. But Bershetskom military camp held military training soldiers of the garrison of Perm and other parts of the military district. In 1953 Bersheti located Perm Tank Regiment Motorized Rifle Division (military part number 07621). In 1950, the camp came in Bershetsky Urals Military District commander, four times Hero of the Soviet Union Marshal Zhukov.

First Division with missiles R -16 has taken up duty in March 1962. From 1985 to 1990 in the 52 th Missile Division went into combat re- rail missile systems (BZHRK), and in 2002 the 52th Missile Division was disbanded, and on its basis, created 1328 database storage and transfer elements BZHRK that lasted until September 2007 .

In total, there were eighty Division SS- 10 ICBM and twelve -22M. Over forty years have been several dozen training launches of strategic missiles, they all got in the specified goals

Administrative and municipal status

Within the framework of administrative divisions, it is incorporated as the closed administrative-territorial formation of Zvyozdny—an administrative unit with the status equal to that of the districts.[1] As a municipal division, the closed administrative-territorial formation of Zvyozdny is incorporated as Zvyozdny Urban Okrug.[2]
