Zulfahmi Arifin is a Singaporean footballer who plays as a midfielder.[1]

The “General”. That has been LionsXII midfielder Zulfahmi Arifin’s nickname since plying his trade in the S.League with the Courts Young Lions in the previous season. Zul, as he is affectionately known by his friends and teammates, thrives in a midfield role where tackles fly fast and furious. Gifted with good sense of ball control and vision, the 21-year-old can quickly switch from defensive work to the attacking berth, as he helps the team capitalise on the opponents’ defensive gaps.[2]

International Career

He was handed his first international starts against Laos.[3]
