Zulay Henao (born May 29, 1979) is a Colombian-American[1] film and television actress.
Life and career
Henao was born in Medellin, Colombia, to Colombian parents.[2][3] She and her family emigrated to New Jersey.[1] After high school she served three years with the U.S. Army. Henao enrolled at the New York Conservatory For Dramatic Arts to study acting.[3][1] She has appeared in movies like Grizzly Park as Lola, Feel the Noise as C.C, Illegal Tender, and S. Darko as Baelyn.
Henao starred opposite Nia Long, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Amy Smart in the 2014 film Single Moms Club directed by Tyler Perry.[4][5] In 2013, she also began starring as regular on the Oprah Winfrey Network sitcom Love Thy Neighbor.[2]
