Zouhair Feddal (born 1 January 1989) is a Moroccan professional footballer who plays for Siena, on loan from Parma, as a defender.
Clubs career
Born in Tétouan, Zouhair Feddal started playing football very young with Moghreb Tétouan before he left with his family to live in Spain when he was almost 6 year old .[1]
In Spain, Feddal started his career with CF Peralada before joining Unió Esportiva Figueres with which he was spotted by AS Monaco. Zouhair Feddal decided later to join the Monegasque club's youth academy.
After his training with AS Monaco, Feddal went back to Spain and played for Mataró, Vilajuïga, Terrassa, Teruel, San Roque de Lepe then he signed for Espanyol in May 2011 where he had to play for its reserve team.
Zouhair Feddal got the Spanish citizenship while he was an Espanyol player.[3] On February 4, 2012 Feddal was on the first team's bench when they were playing a La Liga away game against Athletic Bilbao.[4]
After his Spanish career Feddal preferred to try a new adventure in his homeland Morocco and signed a three years contract on September, 2012 for FUS de Rabat with which he had performed well and became one of the best defenders in Botola.[5] He scored his only goal of the competition during the city of Rabat's derby match against FAR Rabat on October 10, 2012.
In the summer of 2013 Feddal left FUS de Rabat to Parma who sent him on loan to Siena.[6][7]
National Teams
Feddal represented Morocco at the 2012 Summer Olympics[8] and made his international debut at friendly match against Togo on 14 November 2012.[6]
