Mag and Zbox series mini-PCs

Zotac's "Zbox" and "Mag" series of small mini-PCs are mostly[citation needed] Nvidia Ion- or Intel GMA-based nettops, and they are all sold as both complete ready-to-use computers and as barebone computers (without memory and harddrive).[2][3][4][5]

Mag series

The Mag series was Zotac's first attempt at Nvidia Ion based nettops. It comes with standard with a VESA FDMI (Flat Display Mounting Interface) mount bracket that allows for the Mag to be attached on the back of most flat panel monitors and HDTV sets.[4][5]

Zbox series

The Zbox ID33 and Zbox ID34 are specifically marketed towards the HTPC market, where Zbox ID33 is the barebone model and the Zbox ID34 comes with 2GB RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. Both models include a slot-loading Blu-ray Disc optical disc drive, however neither come with a remote control or operating system.[2][6]

Zotac-ION

In January 2012, Zotac announced three additional Zbox series boxes, the Zbox ID81, ID80, and AD04 with different integrated graphics controllers that all come with external WiFi antenna, built-in Bluetooth 3.0, and a bundled Windows Media Center Remote Control with USB IR receiver.[7]

Zbox Nano series

The Zbox Nano AD10 and VD01 are two barebone models of palm-sized mini-PC. The former is powered by AMD E-350 APU (dual-core 1.6 GHz), and the latter by VIA Nano X2 U4025 (dual-core 1.2 GHz). The "Plus" variety of the corresponding model comes pre-configured with 2GB DRAM (1x DDR3-1066 SODIMM) and 320GB 2.5" 5400rpm SATA hard drive. Both AD10 and VD01 have the same I/O interface: 1x memory card reader, 1x DisplayPort, 1x HDMI, 1x eSATA, 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 10/100/1000Mbit/s Ethernet, Bluetooth 3.0 + 802.11n/g/b WiFi.[8]

Boost XL software bundle

Since September 10 of 2010, Zotac is shipping a software bundle called "Boost XL" with all their new motherboards, and mini-PCs / nettops. This software bundle consist of the software applications; Auslogics BoostSpeed (14-day trial), Cooliris, Kylo (HDTV-optimized web browser), and XBMC Media Center.[9][10]
