Zoelen (51°55′N 5°24′E / 51.917°N 5.400°E) is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 3 km north of Tiel.
Zoelen was a separate municipality until 1978, when it was merged with Buren.[1]
In 2001, the village of Zoelen had 569 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.13 km², and contained 219 residences.[2] The statistical area "Zoelen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 1420.[3]
