Zivar (Persian: زيور, also Romanized as Zīvar)[1] is a girl name common in Iran, Greece and East Europe and also a village in Kharturan Rural District, Beyarjomand District, Shahrud County, Semnan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 97, in 27 families.[2]
The meaning of the name "Zivar" is an ornament of gems, gold, or silver or in general jewelry.
