Zhu Fangyu (Chinese: 朱芳雨; pinyin: Zhū Fāngyǔ) is a Chinese basketball player who currently plays for Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association. He is nicknamed the "Rain of Three Pointers" due to his impressive ability of scoring three-pointers in crucial moments. On 1 January 2013, in a game against the Qingdao Eagles, Zhu became the first player in the Chinese Basketball Association to score 9,000 points, which currently makes him the league's highest scorer in its history.[1]
