Zhang Jiaqi (simplified Chinese: 张佳祺; traditional Chinese: 張佳祺; pinyin: Zhāng Jiāqí; born 3 September 1991) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for FC Sion in the Swiss Super League.
Club career
Zhang Jiaqi started his career in Le Mans' youth academy. He played for their reserve team before being signed to the first team in 2012. On 8 February 2013, Zhang made his Ligue 2 debut for Le Mans in a 1–1 away draw against Clermont Foot.[1] After starting three straight games in a row for Le Mans, Zhang scored his first goal, which ending up being the match-winning goal in a 3–2 win against Niort on 22 February.[2] Zhang became a mainstay in the team's starting eleven for the rest of the season, however Le Mans was relegated to the third tier Championnat National on the last day of the season.
In January 2014, Zhang then signed with Swiss Super League side FC Sion on a free transfer.
