Zawlnuam is a census town in Mamit district in the Indian state of Mizoram.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,^[1] Zawlnuam had a population of 3119. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Zawlnuam has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 80%, and female literacy is 76%. In Zawlnuam, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
