Zawidy [zaˈvidɨ] (German Soweiden) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Reszel, within Kętrzyn County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Reszel, 19 km (12 mi) west of Kętrzyn, and 50 km (31 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
