Zarzecze [zaˈʐɛt͡ʂɛ] is a village in Gmina Chybie, Cieszyn County, Silesian Voivodeship, southern Poland.[1] It has a population of 313 (2008).

Zarzecze is one of the oldest villages in Cieszyn Silesia. It was first mentioned in 1223 as Zasere, in a document of Bishop of Wrocław issued for Norbertine Sisters in Rybnik among villages paying them tithe.[2][3] It belonged then to the Duchy of Opole and Racibórz and Castellany of Cieszyn, which, in 1290, was formed into the Duchy of Teschen.

Currently the village's area consists only in a small part of land of the former Zarzecze municipality that was engulfed by waters from the Goczałkowice Reservoir in 1955.

Folklorist and writer Ludwik Kobiela was born in the village.
