Zandokht Shirazi

Zandokht Shirazi (1909–1953) (Persian:زندخت / زنددخت شیرازی) was a prominent Iranian feminist, poet and school teacher, who was an activist from an early age.[1] She established Majma' e Enghelabi e Nesvan (Revolutionary society of women) in Shiraz in 1927, at the age of 18, and published Dokhtran Iran (Daughters of Iran) newspaper on women's issues from 1931 initially in Shiraz.[1]
