Yves Klein Blue was an Australian indie/rock band from Brisbane. The band are signed to Brisbane record label Dew Process,[1] under which they re-released their debut EP Yves Klein Blue Draw Attention to Themselves.[2][3] Yves Klein Blue have supported a number of local and international acts, including The Veils, Franz Ferdinand, The Fratellis, The Living End, Ben Kweller, You Am I and The Grates, as well as enjoying slots at Big Day Out 2008, SxSW 2008, Pyramid Rock Festival 08 and Splendour in the Grass 2008.[4] Their debut album, Ragged & Ecstatic, was released in Australia & New Zealand in July 2009. On 31 January 2011, they sent an email to mailing list subscribers[5] and posted on their Facebook wall stating officially that they had disbanded in the second half of 2010.[6]
The band's name is taken from the colour International Klein Blue by Yves Klein.
In February 2013 Michael Tomlinson had formed a new band based in London, MT Official.

- Triple J Hottest 100, 2008 - Yves Klein Blue made it into the top 100 songs of 2008 with their single "Polka" coming in 76th place.[8]
- Triple J Hottest 100, 2009 - Yves Klein Blue made it into the top 100 songs of 2009 with their song "Getting Wise" coming in 79th place[9]
