Yuri Evgenievich Lyapkin (born January 21, 1945 in Balashikha, Soviet Union) is a retired ice hockey player who played in the Soviet Hockey League as a defenseman.[1] He played for HC Spartak Moscow. He won a gold medal playing for the Soviet Union at the 1976 Olympics, as his team was undefeated.[1][2] He was inducted into the Russian and Soviet Hockey Hall of Fame in 1973. He is Russian.[1][3][4]
