Yuraqmayu[1] (Quechua yuraq white, mayu river,[2] "white river", hispanicized spelling Yuracmayo) is a river in Peru located in the Ancash Region, Huaylas Province, Santa Cruz District.[3] It is a right tributary of the Santa River.

Yuraqmayu originates in the Cordillera Blanca southwest of the mountain Tawllirahu, near the lake Tawlliqucha. It flows through the Santa Cruz gorge from northeast to southwest along the lakes Hatunqucha and Ichikqucha and the village Llamacorral, flanked by the Pukahirka, Kitarahu and Pukarahu in the north and by the Sintiru, Artesonraju and Qaras in the south. Northwest of the Pukarahu, near Kashapampa (Cashapampa), it turns to the northwest. The confluence with the Santa River is near Qullqas (Colcas) and Paqamayu (Pacamayo), 140 km before the Santa River reaches the Pacific Ocean.[4]
