Yuraq Q'asa or Yuraqq'asa (Quechua yuraq white, q'asa mountain pass, "white mountain pass", hispanicized spellings Yuraccasa, Yuraccacsa) is a mountain in the west of the Chila mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,456 metres (17,900 ft) high. It is located in the Arequipa Region, Castilla Province, on the border of the districts Chachas and Choco.[2] Yuraq Q'asa lies south of Chila, the highest mountain in the range, and Chuqipirwa ("metal deposit", Choquepirhua), southeast of Asnu Wañusqa ("donkey died", Asnohuañusca) and northeast of the lake Quchap'unqu ("lake reservoir", Cochapunco) and the mountains Sirani and Q'asiri.
