Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is an international organization focusing on women ages 40 and under who are diagnosed with breast cancer. Major programs offered by the Coalition include the YSC Tour de Pink, a series of bike rides sponsored by The Hershey Company raising funds for the coalition;[1] annual conferences for young women affected by breast cancer;[2] and an online bulletin board which aims to encourage community among young women with breast cancer.[3]

Mission

YSC's mission focuses on the "critical issues unique to young women and breast cancer. YSC works with survivors, caregivers and the medical, research, advocacy and legislative communities to increase the quality and quantity of life for women diagnosed with breast cancer ages 40 and under."[4]

Members promote this mission through lobbying, speaking engagements, conferences and an annual awareness campaign which educates members of the medical community about breast cancer's prevalence in younger women.[5]
