Youkounkoun is a town in northwestern Guinea. It is located in Koundara Prefecture in the Boké Region. The population was estimated at 7,754 in 2008. [1]

Youkounkoun was adopted as the name of the largest diamond in the World in 1960s French movie The Sucker.
