Yu Kikkawa (吉川 友 Kikkawa Yū, born May 1, 1992 in Ibaraki Prefecture) is a Japanese pop singer and former member of Hello! Project.[1]

Biography

Yu Kikkawa was born on May 1, 1992 in Ibaraki Prefecture.[2] From April 7, 2007 until 2010, Hello! Project's official site listed her as a member of Hello Pro Egg, the trainee division.[3] She made her solo debut on May 11, 2011 with the single "Kikkake wa Yu!" [4]

She had a main role in the 2011 film Cheerfu11y.[5]

In her biography she lists arm Arm-wrestling, Basketball, and Shredding Cabbage as some of her special skills.

In a 2013 interview conducted by Japanese Entertainment website Nihongogo, Kikkawa reveals that her toughest opponent in the Hello! Project is Maimi Yajima from ℃-ute. [6]
