Yoshioka (吉岡町 Yoshioka-machi) is a village located in Kitagunma District, Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

As of July 1, 2009, the town has an estimated population of 19,161 people (9462 Men, 9699 Women) and a density of 934.68 persons per km².There are 6,409 households in Yoshioka within a total area of 20.50 km².

Geography

Located in central Gunma, it sits on the southestern slopes of Mount Haruna and in the Tone River region. The western half of the town has an elevation between 200 m and 900 m, while the eastern half is mostly flat, with an elevation between 100 m and 200 m.
