Yorkletts is a village near Whitstable in Kent, England. Housing is predominantly council. It has a pub at one end. The pub is the only facility in the village, with most inhabitants having to travel to Whitstable or Canterbury for forms of entertainment and nightlife. Sadly, the village does not even contain its own pub, which makes it much harder to socialise with those in the village. On the other hand, many of the neighbours thought Yorkletts know each other reasonably well so many social events (such as house parties) can occur between these people. Yorkletts is home to the Woodland Trust's largest and newest site, Victory Woods, with stunning views over the Thames Estuary. It is also famously known for being the residence of footballer Fernando Torres who plays for Chelsea Football Club.
