Yip Wing-sie (Chinese: 葉詠詩; born 1960, Guangzhou, People's Republic of China) is a Hong Kong musician.

She is the music director of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. and fronts it as its principal conductor. Two decades after winning the First Prize and "LYRE d'OR" of the prestigious Concours International des Jeune Chefs d'Orchestre de Besonçon, Yip has become an icon for classical music in the city. She was Principal Conductor and later Music Director of the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra from 1997 to 2003 and Resident Conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra from 1986 to 2000.[1]

Yip Wing-sie is the first Hong Kong conductor to receive the honour of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and Literature), from the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. She was presented with the award by the Consul General in Hong Kong on 5 October 2007, during the Sinfonietta’s Birthday Rhapsody concert.[2]
