Yevgeny Gavrilovich Minayev (Russian: Евге́ний Гаври́лович Мина́ев, born May 21, 1933 - December 8, 1993) is a former Russian weightlifter and Olympic champion who competed for the Soviet Union.
He was born in Klin.
Minayev received a silver medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne.[1]
Four years later he won a gold medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome.[2]
