Yamakanmardi is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Hukeri taluk of Belgaum district in Karnataka. It is home to a temple complex of five temples called "eidu devara gudi" - entrance to which has been shown here. This town also has famous "Hunasekolla Math" which flourished under late Shri Gurusidha Mahaswamy. You can see amazing sculptural art in this math. This town is situated 32 km from Belgaum city on NH4. It is 11 km away from Hukkeri and 17 km away from Sankeshwar.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census, Yamakanmardi had a population of 8545 with 4288 males and 4257 females.[1]
