Yeedzin Football Club is a football club from Thimphu, Bhutan. Yeedzin play in the A Division and have been the champions of Bhutan four times.
History
The club was registered in the B Division of the National football league. Yeedzin FC finished second in the B Division of the national football league and gained automatic promotion to the A division of the national football league. The following year the club finished in mid table of the A division and also registered a team in the C Division of the national football league keeping in line with the club’s policy of promoting youth and enhancing the development of football at the grass root level. Yeedzin FC had more than 100 youth players on its books, but due to financial restriction the club was forced to cut down the number of youth players. The club still looks after more than 50 youth players and also supports them financially. The club also looks after a team in the B Division primarily to ensure a smoother transition for the youth players from the C Division to eventually play in the A Division.
