Yeahwon Shin

Yeahwon Shin is a vocalist born in South Korea.[1] Currently residing in New York, she has performed extensively with some of the best musicians on the Jazz/World music scene, [2] most notably with Brazilian music legend Egberto Gismonti.[3] He also contributed to a piece on Shin's debut Yeahwon which was released in 2010 and received a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Musica Popular Brasileira Album in 2011.[4] [5] Her second album Lua ya has been released in August 2013 on the innovative label ECM Records with contribution of pianist Aaron Parks and accordionist Rob Curto.[6]
