Yazd County (Persian: شهرستان یزد) is a county in Yazd Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Yazd. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 515,044, in 138,108 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Zarach District. The county has four cities: Yazd, Zarach, Shahediyeh, and Hamidiya.
