Yarpole

Yarpole is a small village in the civil parish of Croft and Yarpole in rural north Herefordshire, England located between Leominster and Ludlow, Shropshire. The parish also includes the hamlets of Bircher, located northeast of the village, and Bicton located south of the village.

St Leonard's church [1] chancel was restored by Sir George Gilbert Scott in 1864.[2] The church has a separate bell tower, which is a grade I listed building.[3] The main timbers of the bell tower have been dated by dendrochronology to 1192, making this one of the oldest timber-framed structures in England. [4]

The village has a gastro pub called The Bell. [5] [6]
