Yang Shanping (simplified Chinese: 杨善平; traditional Chinese: 楊善平; pinyin: Yáng Shànpíng; born 28 October 1987) is a Chinese footballer who currently plays for Liaoning Whowin in the Chinese Super League.

Club career

Yang Shanping broke into the senior side of Liaoning Whowin on 15 May 2005 in a league game against Shenzhen Jianlibao in a 3-1 victory.[1] After making his debut, he would become and regular and then vital member within the team's defence.[2] When he missed much of the 2008 league season the team's performances suffered and Yang Shanping saw them relegated to the second tier. When he returned into the team, he would immediately aid them in their promotion push and saw the club win the division title.

International career

On 6 June 2013, Yang made his debut for the Chinese national team in a friendly match against Uzbekistan in a 2-1 lost when he came on for Zhao Peng.
