Xiangxiang

Xiangxiang (simplified Chinese: 湘乡; traditional Chinese: 湘鄉; pinyin: Xiāngxiāng) is a county-level city in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, China.

It has an area of 2011 square kilometers and a population of 900,000.[1]

It is the home of Qing general Zeng Guofan. The late leader of China, Mao Zedong attended high school here.
