Xiangfang District (simplified Chinese: 香坊区; traditional Chinese: 香坊區; pinyin: Xiāngfáng Qū) is a district of Harbin, the capital of Heilongjiang province, People's Republic of China. It is an urban district in the pre-1940 part of Harbin. It is an industrialized area, and contains the main scientific, technological and industrial zones of the city. The Harbin Development Zone is in the district.[1]

History

On 15 August 2006 Dongli District (动力区) was merged into Xiangfang District,[1] thus adding Chaoyang Township (朝阳镇) and the subdistricts of:

  • Liming (黎明街道),
  • Jianzhu (建筑街道)
  • Ha Ping Lu(哈平路街道)
  • Lok (安乐街道)
  • Jiankang Lu (健康路街道)
  • Dai Qing Lu (大庆路街道)
  • Jinxiang (进乡街道)
  • Tongxiang (通乡街道)
  • He Ping Lu (和平路街道)
  • Minsheng Lu (民生路街道)
  • Wenzheng (文政街道)
  • Wang Zhaoxing (王兆街道).
