Xanthohumol is a prenylated chalconoid from hops and beer. This prenylated chalconoid is not estrogenic. It has a range of biological properties with potential therapeutic utility.[1][2]

In preliminary research, xanthohumol had free radical scavenging and anticancer properties,[3] immune-supporting activity, and inhibited platelet aggregation.[4]
